March 6, 2026
Dear Parents,
March 13th marks the midway point of the second semester. Please review your child’s progress report in OnBoard which will be posted after spring break and no later than March 24th. You will see where your child stands academically in each class.
Student absences, whether excused or unexcused, again are becoming a concern. Missing assignments again are significantly impacting student grades. It is imperative that students complete all their assignments even if they are absent. Students must meet deadlines and plan ahead if they have athletics or other activities. Students should be referring to their teachers’ Google Classrooms to find out what they missed. Please refer to OnBoard to check your child’s grades and attendance.
Please come out and cheer on our girls and boys basketball teams as they begin state competition this weekend. Our girls play Friday at 6:00 vs. Dexter at Dexter. Our boys play at home on Saturday vs. Wingate at 4:00. Just a reminder that tickets are sold digitally on GoFan.Co, and there will be no cash transactions or ticket sales at the door. Tickets are $12 (Link Here) for purchase.
Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, coaches, and all our academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs. Go Horsemen!
Yours in Christ,
Martin C. Sandoval, Principal
Important Reminder for Returning Families (Grades 7–11)
The deadline to submit a verified Financial Aid Application for the 2026–2027 school year is March 31, 2026.
Unlike the Perpetual Enrollment Contract, the Financial Aid Application must be completed each year. Although enrollment and tuition management accounts automatically rolled over, financial aid awards do not. Any tuition assistance, financial aid, or scholarships received for the 2025–2026 school year will not carry forward.
If you are seeking tuition assistance for 2026–2027, you must complete and have a verified Financial Aid Management Application on file by March 31, 2026.
The Parents and Alumni Association Scholarship Application is available under the Parents & Alumni tab within Horsemen Highlights and on our website. These applications are also due March 31, 2026.
The deadline to submit the “Notice of Intent Not to Return” form has now passed. All families who did not submit the form or contact the office have been automatically enrolled in the 2026–2027 school year under St. Michael’s High School’s perpetual enrollment process.
Next Steps for Payment Plans:
Tuition payment plans and payment methods (ACH, debit, or credit card) have rolled over from the prior school year.
Families wishing to make changes to their payment plan or method may still contact the Business Office as soon as possible.
All returning families will be assessed the $75 Blackbaud Tuition Management administrative fee in March according to your payment schedule.
11-month payment plan families: Registration fee divided across March, April, and May.
12-month payment plan families: Registration fee divided across March, April, May, and June.
Educational, security/IT, and capital improvement fees will be charged according to your existing payment plan schedule.
Annual-pay families initially defaulted to an 11-month plan will have the opportunity to confirm their payment option and receive any applicable early-pay discounts.
No action is needed if your student is returning and you are satisfied with your current payment plan. For assistance, please contact:

Let us remember . . .
Quality Education
The Lasallian school provides an education that prepares students not only for college and career but also for life. This education advances the students’ abilities to use their talents to critically examine the world in light of the message of the Gospels and to take greater responsibility for their own education. At St. Michael's, this core principle is reflected each day through this Lasallian ideal: “Teaching Minds and Touching Hearts.”
Live Jesus in our Hearts. . .
