Dear Parents,
On Wednesdays we provided active shooter training for all students conducted by the Santa Fe Police Department SWAT Unit. This training educated students on what to do in given situations, how police will respond, and how best to protect themselves. All faculty, staff, and students have been trained. This training is part of our school safety initiative and will be followed up with shelter in place and lock down drills. Some of these drills may be unannounced. It is vital that all our students take these drills seriously. Student safety is our top priority, and we will continue to do all that we can to ensure everyone at our school is safe.
This month our students and staff have been promoting Breast Cancer Awareness with many activities to raise money for the cause. We keep those struggling with any type of cancer in our thoughts and prayers. Our students and staff also will be conducting clothing and food, drives to help those in need, especially as winter begins to set in. Service to the community and supporting those who are suffering is an important part of who we are as a school. Your support with our service learning projects is greatly appreciated.
We are on Mass Schedule November 1st to celebrate All Saints Day. We ask that you please help ensure that your child is in appropriate mass dress and follows the mass dress code on that day.
Our student athletes have been working hard to try and win District titles in our various fall sports and to prepare for State competition. Please come out and support our teams in their quests for state championships.
The parental support that is provided to our school in a variety of ways is greatly appreciated. We could not accomplish what we do without you. Go Horsemen!
Yours in Christ,
Martin C. Sandoval, Principal

Springtide Research Institute is conducting a survey as a third party, with the Lasallian District of San Francisco New Orleans, to understand more about your student(s)’ experiences at their school––specifically focused on their belonging and thriving. This survey will follow up on our findings from the past two years.
This survey will ask about your perceptions of student belonging and thriving at the school, and your responses will provide a more holistic view of the student experience.
Findings from this survey will accompany our findings from a similar student survey. As a vital participant in this study, we need to hear from you! This survey should take you about 6 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential.

Lasallian Without Limits
As Lasallians, we are called to be respectful and understanding with one other, remembering that, as each of us struggles to overcome our own shortcomings, we never know what the other person has been dealing with. It is a form of generosity that is challenging to put into action.
And, so, remembering that we are in the Holy Presence of God:
We pray to be the light to those in darkness, to build sustainable communities wherever we find ourselves, to be hope for those without, to stand in solidarity with those on the margins, to recognize the inherent human dignity of each person — no matter the circumstance — to discern how to be our best selves in the midst of a chaotic world. That is, to embrace our identity as “Lasallians without limits.”
