In the contiguous villages of East Farleigh and Wateringbury the water was out to such an extent as to cause the greatest inconvenience and pecuniary loss. From Wateringbury two bullocks were washed away and drowned, and a similar fate befell another beast Fast Farleigh. At the latter place, the boat House of Mr Hutson was blown down and carried away by the force of tho stream.
