WATERINGBURY

HOUSE-TO-HOUSE COLLECTION.—The members of the Loyal Flower of Kent Lodge of

Oddfellows have again made a house-to-house

collection for the Maidstone Hospitals, in

place of the anniversary fete. The inhabitants

generously responding, the sum of £8 10s. 9d.

was realised, £5 being sent to the West Kent

General Hospital and £3 10s. 9d. to the Ophthalmic Hospital.

The collection was made by: R. Hysted (£5 16s.7d.), T. Butchers (£1

10s. 2d.), and W. Shepherd (15s.).
