This book includes crossreferences by chapter only, never by page. For references to Chapter Thirteen: Denizens of Freeport in particular, page references would be a useful time-saver. (A few page numbers are supplied here, but only when the chapter reference was also omitted.) Also, there are no references in the main text to the Campaign Hooks on pp. 246-249.
In the Key Figures sections of each location, the text usually reads, "The following characters can generally be found..." However, there is frequently only one profile given for a given location.
A Captain of Freeport
Underline "Forlorn Hope" and "Silver Swan".

Introduction

Chapter I: A History of Freeport
p. 11, Sigurd's First Mate: Italicize the title at the end of the sidebar.
Chapter II: The City of Adventure
p. 27, Captain's Day: The solstice is the beginning of winter, not mid-winter.
p. 29, Drac's Fall: In the header, "Drac s" should be "Drac's". The time of year for this holiday is not given. In the year of Drac's death, "Holiday in the Sun" took place during Swagfest, shortly after the events of Death in Freeport; the Freeport Trilogy concluded one to two months later, putting Drac's Fall in late spring, shortly before the summer solstice.
p. 32, The Current Council: Torian and Tarmon are out of alphabetical order.
pp. 35-36, The Sea Lord's Guard: Change "(see The Freeport Watch)" to "(see The Watch)". The Watch is described on pp. 37-39.
Chapter III: The Docks
pp. 52-54, The Black Gull: Under Adventure Seeds (p. 54), italicize "Black Doxy".
p. 61, Captain Morgan Baumann: "Shanta Froese" should be "Shantar Froese" (per Denizens of Freeport and Black Sails Over Freeport).
Chapter IV: Scurvytown
p. 73, Sheila Whitelick: Her uncle is Naylor Whitelick (p. 210).
Chapter V: Bloodsalt
pp. 78-80, 1. The Reclamation Project Compound: According to Denizens of Freeport (pp. 27-28), "Knorberrtal" should be "Knorrbertal".
pp. 80-81, 2. Redblade Barracks: See Chapter Thirteen (p. 184) about Draegar Redblade.
Chapter VI: Eastern District
No notes.
Chapter VII: Old City
p. 105, Thomas Fleetfoot: "Thomas" should be "Tomas".
pp. 105-108, 2. The Guardsmen's Facilities: Under Description, the first three paragraphs apply to the Fortress compound as a whole. Under Key Figures, note that more on Marshall Maeorgan can be found on p. 33 (House Maeorgan).
p. 107, Fortress of Justice [map]: The map of the Courts (which dates from Freeport - The City of Adventure) doesn't match the description on p. 108.
pp. 108-110, 3. The Courts: The description of the building doesn't match the map on p. 107. The judges in the illustration on p. 109 are as follows: (front row, L-R) McGowan, Drent; (back row, L-R) Ubu, Strummer, Rhodes, Jones.
p. 110, Judge Frederick Drent Criminal Court: In the header, insert a comma after "Drent".
Chapter VIII: Drac's End
pp. 128-129, 7. Fang and Claw: The land shark (AKA bulette) is described in the Monster Manual (d20) and True20 Bestiary, but what is a "jungle devil"? (No such creature appears in the True20 Freeport Companion.)
Chapter IX: Temple District
p. 133, Locations of Interest: In the sentence before location, 1, "Old City" should be "Temple District".
p. 136, Talbous Mog: According to the d20 book Denizens of Freeport, Mog is a priest of the God of Earth.
p. 138, Temple of the God of Knowledge [map]: North is towards the bottom of the page (unlike all other maps in this book).
pp. 141-144, 4. Temple of the God of the Sea: The city mentioned under Adventure Seeds (p. 144) is the same one as in the City Beneath the Sea sidebar (p. 141).
p. 143, God of Penitence: There is a chapel to this god in the Tombs (see p. 110).
pp. 145-146, 6. Temple of the God of Pirates: The description of the temple has been changed somewhat from Freeport: The City of Adventure (however, the mast and crow's nest fits the "architecture" better now). The map in that earlier book needs to be updated.
Under History, insert "from" after "distance" in the second sentence of the second paragraph.
Peg-Leg Peligro wears stereotypical pirate captain garb, not priestly robes. (See Black Sails Over Freeport, p. 30). He is listed here as a journeyman (a level 6-10 character in d20 or True20 terms, per those Freeport Companions, neither of which provide his full stats). However, Black Sails makes him a 12th-level character, which would be master level.
Under Adventure Hooks, "priests are happy" should be "priests happy".
Chapter X: Merchant District
For location 11, The Last Port, see the Law and Order sidebar, p. 151.
pp. 157-159, 8. Maeorgan Manor: Mendor Maeorgan is described more fully in Chapter Thirteen (p. 191).
Chapter XI: Warehouse District
pp. 166-167, 3. Municipal Auction House: Under Adventure Seeds, see pp. 106 and 249 about the Pelagic Effigy.
Chapter XII: The Underside
p. 179, T'lother: See Tales of Freeport (p. 6) for more details on the Sskethvai sect.
Chapter XIII: Denizens of Freeport
pp. 183-184, Captain Jacob Lydon: In the first paragraph of Background, delete the "and" immediately after "Sharpe".
pp. 187-188, K'Stallo: Under Secrets, Goals, and Plans, the rival faction is Sskethvai; see p. 179 and Tales of Freeport (p. 6) for more details on the schism.
pp. 194-195, Prendag the High Death: Under Secrets, Goals, and Plans, "Daegar" should be "Draegar".
pp. 195-196, Red Alice: In Background, "Rick Burbage" should be "Rickard Burbage"; his first name is never abbreviated elsewhere.
p. 199, Captain Hector Torian: According to Freeport: The City of Adventure and the Freeport Trilogy, Torian's ship was the Silver Ghost, not the Sea Ghost.
p. 200, Captain Scarbelly: See Buccaneers of Freeport for more detail about Scarbelly. Scarbelly is a 7th-level fighter in the d20 Freeport Companion and a 7th-level warrior in the True20 Freeport Companion, but Buccaneers lists him as a "master" (level 11+).
Chapter XIV: The Serpent's Teeth
pp. 205-206, The Shark Men of the Black Depths: See also pp. 167 and 248 about the Pelagic Effigy.
p. 208, Cuttleblack: Cuttleblack originally appeared in Denizens of Freeport (pp. 23-24), where he was a mind flayer (as is still obvious from his portrait). However, mind flayers are closed content of Wizards of the Coast, not Open Content, so his race will need to be redefined for any new Freeport support materials.
p. 209, The Reclamation Project: According to Denizens of Freeport (pp. 27-28), "Knorberrtal" should be "Knorrbertal".
p. 210, Naylor Whitelick: See p. 73 (Sheila Whitelick) about his niece.
p. 210, Adventure Hooks: "Ilde Torenn" should be "Ilda Torenn".
pp. 212-215, Libertyville: See Chapter Thirteen (p. 190) about Masson Francisco.
Chapter XV: Beyond Freeport
p. 221, The World of Freeport: In the second paragraph, "a pastiche" should be "is a pastiche".
pp. 222-223, The Wars of the Necro-Kings: In the second paragraph, "the Rajko" should be "Rajko".
pp. 223-224, Druzhdin: In the fourth paragraph of History, "straight" should be "strait".
p. 226, The Continent [map] (and end papers): Reverse numbers 10 and 11 in the Major Landmarks legend; Wight's Hill is located in Hexworth, and Bluesky Eyrie in Iovan.
p. 225, The Yurtha Rift: In the first sentence, "southwest" should be "southeast".
pp. 227-228, Ivory Ports: Under Rulers, delete the comma after "Ruggles".
pp. 228-229, Rolland: In the second paragraph of History, insert "was" before "Kanagar".
pp. 229-231, Tagmata: In the first paragraph, "pratical-minded" should be "practical-minded".
pp. 231-232, Vorizar: "[A] horrid half-breed race of demented killers," part dwarf and part human, sounds very much like the derro (MM).
Chapter XVI: Using Freeport
pp. 248-249, Swords Against the Brotherhood: See pp. 167 and 206 about the Pelagic Effigy, page 192 about the Jaundiced Altar, and pp. 81 and 116 about the Azoth Stone.
Appendix: Publishing History
p. 250, Denizens of Freeport (2003): "[T]he Pirate's Guide to Freeport" should be italicized.
