Neither Death in Freeport nor Terror in Freeport give stats for Lucius, the librarian and former possession victim at the Temple of the God of Knowledge in Freeport. I have created the following stat block for him for my campaign, and am posting it here in case other DMs wish to use him in a more active role.
Lucius: Male human, Exp1 (librarian): CR 1/2; Medium-sized humanoid; HD 1d6-1; hp 5; Init +0; Spd 30 ft.; AC 10; Atk -1 melee or +0 ranged; AL NG; SV Fort -1, Ref +0, Will +2; Str 9, Dex 11, Con 8, Int 17, Wis 13, Cha 13; Craft (Bookbinding) +7, Decipher Script +9, Gather Information +5, Knowledge (Arcana) +7, Knowledge (Geography) +9, Knowledge (History) +7, Knowledge (Planes) +7, Knowledge (Religion) +7, Profession (Librarian) +5; Skill Focus (Decipher Script), Skill Focus (Knowledge: Geography).
Languages: Common, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Halfling, and 3 others chosen by the DM as appropriate to the campaign.
If using the house rule of +3 for Skill Focus (as suggested in Freeport: The City of Adventure, p. 123), then raise Decipher Script and Knowledge (Geography) to +10.
3.5 Revision
In D&D 3.5, Skill Focus gives +3. No other changes are necessary for revising Lucius to 3.5. His official 3.5 stat block appears in Death in Freeport Revised.
