Introduction (p. 5)
p. 6, The Freeport Companions: Insert "The" before "Pirate's Guide to Freeport".
Chapter One: Characters (p. 9)
No notes.
Chapter Two: Magic & Spellcasting (p. 27)
p. 30, More Animal Forms; p. 31, Wild Shape:
On the bottom of page [30] in a little text box it says it costs a fate point to change forms but on the main description on pg [31] it doesn't mention a cost. [...] Is there an errata for this or other official ruling on the fate point cost of wild shape? [Reko, Green Ronin boards: "Fate Freeport Companion Errata for wild shape?", 11/4/2013]
Because this ability is fairly powerful for the price of a single stunt, I would be inclined to treat Wild Shape as if it were a cost spell. (Cost Spells on p. 33 states that most spells are cost spells.)
p. 33, Cost Cpells [sic]: "Cost Cpells" should be "Cost Spells".
p. 37, Fireball: Capitalize and italicize "magic missile" and "burning hands".
Chapter Three: Wealth & Gear (p. 47)
No notes.
Chapter Four: Creatures of Freeport (p. 57)
Many stat blocks in this chapter have text format errors, with a parenthesis or the final letter of a line incorrectly being bold.
p. 61, Boar: Delete "+1 mild physical consequence" from Mental Stress; add "(Extra Mild Consequence Slot)" to the Physical Stress track. (See Chemical Golem, pp. 61-62, for text format.)
pp. 62-63, Corpse Flower: Add "Mental Stress: This creature is immune to mental attacks" (compare the monstrous vermin on pp. 70-71).
p. 66, Fire Spectre: Italicize "Winds of Hell".
p. 68, Ghost Eater: Change "*spects" to "Aspects".
pp. 73-74, Ocean Wyrm: Under Aspects, "Lacothath" should be "Locathah".
pp. 78-79, Serpent Person Degenerate: Under Physical Defense, "Dexteririty" should be "Dexterity".
Chapter Five: Denizens of Freeport (p. 87)
pp. 99-100, Aleksander Tovac: Change both instances of "Sondek" to "Sandek".
pp. 100-102, Alfhild: Under Stress, move "One extra mild consequence slot" to Physical (the stunt that grants it is Constitution-based). This text should be in parenthesis, and in bold small caps (see Chapter 4 for examples of this text format).
p. 102, Aporcus Beedel: Change both instances of "Knorbertal" to "Knorrbertal".
p. 104, Asha Sante: "Retribution God" should be "Justice God".
pp. 107-108, Countess D'Amberville: Under Melee Attack, insert "and bloodthirsty blade" after "Sneak Attack and".
pp. 112-113, Draegar Redblade: Under Stress, the extra consequence slot should be listed after Physical, with Mental on a new line.
p. 113, Dreiden Simmerswell: Hi Constitution is only +0, so his Physical Stress is to high; delete one box.
p. 115, Enoch Holliver: The skill tie to his Grizzled Veteran stunt is not given, nor the type of extra consequence slot it grants. These should be Constitution and physical, respectively.
p. 123, Hector Torian: "Sea Ghost" should be "Silver Ghost" (per Pirate's Guide to Freeport and True20 Freeport Companion errata).
p. 129, Liam Blackhammer: Under Melee Attack, "Warhammer Strength (+3)" should be "Warhammer Good (+3)".
p. 132, Mister Wednesday: This entry should be alphabetized under "Wednesday".
p. 133, Mother Mirren: This entry should be alphabetized under "Mirren".
pp. 138-139, Prendag the High Death: According to Denizens of Freeport (p. 71), Prendag serves the God of Murder.
p. 142, Tarmon, High Wizard: Under Aspects, ""WIzard's" should be "Wizard's".
Fury in Freeport (p. 151)
The maps in this adventure (pp. 159, 163, 178, 183) need to be divided into zones for the purposes of Fate combat. Suggested divisions are given individually in the notes below.
p. 155, Darn Players!: "Knorbertal" should be "Knorrbertal".
pp. 156-157, Aporcus Beedle: On p. 157, "social overcome actions" should be "Charisma-based overcome actions". At the end of Snooping, "Encounter E" should be "Encounter F". [This last is a holdover from previous, uncorrected Freeport Companions.]
p. 159, Municipal Auction House [map]: Each location is a separate zone, with areas 2, 3, and 6 possibly being large enough to break into multiple areas. The yard should have zones on each side of the gauntlet and one for each of the other three sides of the building (plus a zone for the roof). The auction room could be divided into staged and seating zones. The large cluttered warehouse should clearly be multiple zones, even if the other rooms are not; examples include: the hall to 4 and 5, the section near the doors to 3, the section under the ceiling trapdoor, and the area around the Knorrbertal pallet.
p. 160, Lurker in the Darkness: The dretch's Outsider Toughness does not specify whether the extra mild consequence slot is physical or mental, but the former seems most likely based on the stunt's name.
p. 163, Blackened Knot Ambush [map]: This combat is the easiest to divide into zones: the one the player characters start in, and the two zones on either side of them that the thugs occupy when the ambush is sprung. Add additional zones as needed based on the characters' actions (for example, if the fight turns into a chase).
p. 171, Meeting O'takan Farastay: "Knorbertal" should be "Knorrbertal". [This error is a holdover from previous, uncorrected Freeport Companions.]
p. 175, Table A-5: Murder Information: "Krebel" should be "Kergen" (unless the mistake was deliberate?).
p. 178, Tasovar's Shop [map]: Each room should be treated as a separate zone.
p. 183, Narwhale [map]: Treat each location as a separate zone, with the dock and crow's nest being zones of their own.
