Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Starter Set (Fourth Edition)
4th Edition Quick-Start Rules
The Dungeon Master's Book contains text that was omitted from the Quick-Start Rules but should be available to the players. Copy pp. 7-8 of the DM's Book, from "Attack Types" through "Ongoing Damage," and insert that text into the Quick-Start Rules on p. 4, between "Combat Advantage" and "Other Actions in Combat."
The DM's Book also includes a longer section on skills (pp. 10-11), which is appropriate for player reference. [The first paragraph on p. 10 refers to DCs appearing in encounters, but no privileged information is given on those two pages.]
p. 13, Human Cleric: At -Will Powers: Sacred Flame: Temporary hit points are not explained in the Quick-Start Rules. Either 1) see the Player's Handbook, p. 293, or 2) ignore the reference and simply allow the second option (a saving throw) as written.
Dungeon Master's Book
See the Quick-Start Rules, above, about omissions from that book.
p. 13, Conditions: This page is a nicely-formatted summary that would make a handy player reference aid. Note, however, that permission to photocopy it has NOT been given. [The same list can be found on p. 277 of the Player's Handbook, but with a different layout.]
p. 32, Creating Dungeons: Note that p. 61 [unnumbered] also presents a 8x10 tile. [Permission has NOT been granted to photocopy this page. However, identical pages in the Dungeon Master's Guide (pp. 222-223) do have it.]
p. 61, [8x10 map tile]: Wizards of the Coast should add permission to photocopy this page for personal use to the bottom of the page (as in the otherwise identical pages in the DMG, pp. 222-223).
