Carol's 2011 Autobiography

I have been an LPN for 47 years. I started working as a Nurses Aide at St. Vincents Hospital the day after graduation, until I could start the Nursing program in Dec that year. I was only 17yrs old and had to be 18 for the RN program. I worked at the hospital after graduation for 4yrs,

I was married in 1963. I had three daughters our oldest daughter died as a result of an auto accident in 2001. Have 5 grandchildren ages 20 to 7, 3 girls and 2 boys. I am still working as a charge nurse at River Glen Healthcare Center in Southbury, CT. My husband is a retired contractor, excavator. We built 12 homes in the 70s 80s an 90s. We both like Nascar and traveling. I have had contact with Robin Falla and Diane Hammer though the years and we have remained friends.
