Ruth's 2011 Autobiography

Since graduating from Staples I've earned a BA from Cornell University, a Diploma from the As-sociation Montessori Internationale in London, and a Masters of Science degree from Hunter College. I have taught nursery school for 34 years and served on the Board of ATIS (Association of Teachers of Independent Schools). I've also been married for almost 46 years to Tim Wood, an architect, academic, and altogether wonderful man. We have three terrific sons, now married to three loving women. We all enjoy using our country house in New Jersey which Tim designed. We travel a bit, the UK, Switzerland, and Italy mostly. We have a total of four grand- children ranging in age from 5 months to 31/2 years. I babysit a lot and love it.
