Jane Gordon
Jane's 2011 Autobiography
I was a Hurlbutt/Weston kid, only at Staples for one semester before moving back to CA in 1959. UCLA class of 65. Starting with Jr year abroad, I lived the preponderance of three separate years in France. I taught both English in France and French in the US. I've also been (in no apparent order) an editor, translator, activist/organizer (in 1970, was an anti-war candidate for Congress), various intriguing sorts of assistant, and wife & mom... these last two being by far the most significant. If you grew up in Weston, remember Mr. Gillen & Miss Maclaine, walked to the Center, skated/fished at Felton's Pond, hated the rocks and loved the sandbar at Compo... get in touch!
