Patsy's 2011 Autobiography
Hi Everyone! I hope you all have the most wonderful time and relive fun memories of our time at Staples ! I'll be in Seattle so can't be with you but here's a brief history of my 50 years since '61....
I live in Lewes, DE, a small charming town on the coast of the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean (second home to many Washington D.C.'ers). My second husband and I are both artists, living in the historic district. Having remodeled our 1890 home we have our studios and gallery downstairs and live upstairs, making for a very long commute to work! My husband, Steve Rogers, is a marine and landscape painter and teaches model ship building in Maine in the summer (I get to go, too). I'm a fiber artist, making framed wall pieces and high end pillows. Luckily for us, Delaware is a very small state so both of us are well-known.
I raised three wonderful children by myself who now live all over the whole United States (2 girls and 1 boy). My younger daughter, after years of scholarship ballet training at N.C. School of the Arts and in NYC became a soloist with Pacific NW Ballet Co. in Seattle and performed all over the world. We were lucky enough to see her dance in London once.
I hate to admit that I never finished college but I've been lucky enough to succeed in spite of this lack. I'll be reading all your bios, knowing that all of you ...the spectacular class of '61...have led successful and fulfilling lives for the past 50 years. If anyone feels like visiting the Delaware beaches, come by for a visit; I'd love to see each and everyone of you. And P.S. ....DE is a great place to retire, low taxes and lots of natural beauty thanks to our protected coast. We'll even put you up for a couple of nights.
