Donna's 2011 Autobiography

My name in high school was Donna Lomme. I have been married twice first to Kenneth Maykut and now to Al Guthrie. My legal name is still Donna Maykut. My life since high school has been wonderful. I graduated from college on Memorial Day, got married on June 10^th and got my first teaching contract in Sept. all in 1967. After 10 years of marriage Ken and I had our first son Kenneth on May 26, 1977 and two years later our son Jeb arrived. Along with having our two sons Ken I continued with our educations, Ken got three more degrees and I got two, two degrees that allowed me to teach for 42 years in many different facets of education. I have taught every grade from Kindergarten to grade 12 along with being a High school assistant principal and Reading/Language Arts supervisor. Additionally I taught college courses in two universities. In January of 1998 my husband Ken died suddenly of a massive heart attack. I was alone for eight years until I met my wonderful Husband Al Guthrie who has been my angel for the last five years.
