Patty's 2021 Autobiography

After graduating from Mt Mercy College, was public school speech therapist in Baltimore MD for 2 years and 1 year in Bridgeport, CT with HeadStart.

1968 Married Jay McCarthy, class of 1961, and moved to Bahamas. Lived there for 6 yrs with one yr. in Puerto Rico

1974 Moved to Miami FL and had first child, Shannon.

1975 Moved to Middle East; Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain

1979 Returned to US and had son Ryan. Lived in Stratford and Stamford.

1981 Returned to Westport

1988 Divorced

1989 Started own business as representative for illustrators in the children's publishing market. Still in business.

Presently, working, fighting gravity and enjoying this fascinating world so different from our high school days.

Would love to hear from anyone who may remember me. I was only at Staples for junior and senior years.
