Faith Kimball Lyons
Faith's 2011 Autobiography
After Staples I went to Wheelock College in Boston, moved to Berkeley, CA for a few years - missed New England and settled back in the Boston area. Got married in 1973 to Robert Russell - no kids. Lost him in a plane crash 1991. I worked in retail for many years - moved into the fine jewelry end of it. Worked at several jewelry stores in the Boston area. Remarried to Douglas Lyons in 1995 - remain happily so to this day. I am basically retired now. Husband grew up in Stamford and is a corporate pilot.
3 step children, 4 step-grandkids - none close by - CA and NC.
Just lost my mother in December - she had left Westport in 2003 to live in Nashville with my younger sister, Holly Tashian. Older sister, Joy Overstreet lives in state of Washington.
We live outside of Boston, actually closer to Providence.
Faith’s Update (2021)
Upon reflection of my Staples years, while I did get a great education, it was not my best socially or personally aware time. I was quite immature I feel. I have no connections to that part of my past.
I am a very private person and I feel I have nothing to add or be gained by joining in the zoom meeting.
My life is wonderful these days. We left Massachusetts 5 years ago and moved to High Point, NC. My husband has one daughter and granddaughter and they are the reason we relocated. Do miss New Englans but NC is a pretty neat state and we have made many new friends. Great neighbors too, My younger sister Holly lives about 8 hours away in Nashville. Husband’s sisters are in SC and FL so we are all closer than when we were in Massachusetts.
Best of luck and success with your zoom meetings. I am sure that everyone involved will thoroughly enjoy it.
