Carl's 2011 Autobiography
Carl grew up in Westport, Connecticut. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Bridgeport, he began his career marketing and installing accounting computers for the Burroughs Corporation. Twenty-one years later, in 1987, he started his own computer business. He sold the business in 2007. Carl is also the author of a series of self-help books, and a re-publisher of spiritual/recovery books.
Today Carl lives with his wife, Susan, in Fairfield, Connecticut. He has three children, two stepchildren, and 14 grandchildren. His nickname, Tuchy, comes from having been one of three Carl’s in his family. There was a “Big Carlo” a “Carlo the Twin,” and “Carluch,” which meant “Little Carl.” “Carluch” evolved into “Carlatuch,” “Tuch,” and finally, “Tuchy.”
My year book had me down as Carlo ( Tuchy) Palmer my nickname is Tuchy, My birth certificate has me as Palmieri. Today I use Carl Palmieri. My Pen name is Tuchy Palmieri.
A quote in my year book was that I wanted to make a million and one dollars. Not sure that I made it when we factor in inflation, but I did do well.
