Puzzle 32 - Direct Current

Puzzle:

[Solution: Puzzlers start by realizing the circuit board is analogous to the DC metro system as hinted by the title (Direct Current = DC) and the Bowser Power hinting Mayor Muriel Bowser. Puzzlers then identify the golden dot stations. The next step is to identify the binary which seems quite out of place. Puzzlers use the binary to ASCII to text system (or an automatic translator online) on the three instances where binary appears: serial code, prongs, resistors and capacitors. This gives the letters PTE. Finding the resistance values and converting to alphanumeric yields the letters ABL. Rearranging the letters reading from top left to bottom right yields the word PTABLE, or periodic table. Realizing the control panel is a periodic table, puzzlers look to the stations which have been thus far unused. Puzzlers take the first letter in each word, and so each station corresponds to an element, which when plotted on the periodic table grid give the word SWEATER.]
