Puzzle 4 -- Crazy for Crayola

Puzzle:

Teams get a paper with a list of colors and crayola crayon names.

[Solution: Teams realize all the colors are crayola crayons and match up the RGB values to the indicated spot and color on the corresponding image to get “Indian Red.” By repeating this process using Indian Red as the color and the squared boxes as the pictures, they spell out “HEEG.”]

  • Hint 1: Somehow this puzzle reminds me of my old friend, Roy G. Biv.

  • Hint 2: Let’s count letters of the alphabet. The first is A, second is B. Eh whatever… You do the rest.

  • Hint 3: That puzzle was great! So great, in fact, that I’d do it all over again. This time I won’t need that out-of-the-box thinking, though…

Available Star:

Looking carefully, there are some dots on the borders of the boxes. These correspond to braille dots, spelling out “STAR.”
