Kyle Kendall is a man of science. Magick is simply a different application of fundamental principles that govern the known Universe. He believes firmly in the generous use and application of the Scientific Method. He believes strongly in the Science of the Mind and has a professional passion in seeking to understand and catalogue what drives the human condition. Especially in regards to violent criminals.

Practice: “I will need to examine all the evidence first.”

Kyle does not like to speculate. Speculation is the act of formulating an opinion or theory without fully researching or investigating. He is reticent to form any opinion about a matter without studying all the evidence first. Most of the time this is to his benefit working within an investigative beaurocracy, but it can be also be bit of an annoyance to other people who tend to rely on instinct or intuition.

As a member of the investigative division of Achilles Shield, Kyle is given access to some of the top of the line scanning equipment. His primary field equipment focus is his full-spectrum tricorder for sensor scanning, data analysis, and recording which he keeps on his belt along with his Construct issued badge, gun, and handcuffs.

Backstory

“The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.”

Kyle graduated among the top 5 of his class at Colorado State University in Forensic Sciences with a minor in Anthropology. He went on to continue his education at the FBI National Training Academy at Quantico, Virginia with a focus on Criminal Psychology with the intention of going on to work for the Behavioral Sciences Unit with the FBI when his graduate thesis regarding the Nature and Origins of Evil had garnered the attention of members of the Ivory Tower within the New World Order arm of the technocracy within Achilles Shield.

Sending his application to the BSU at the FBI, it is intercepted and rerouted by the Ivory Tower and he is offered the opportunity to complete his training with Achilles Shield learning from some of the most advanced forensic specialists in the field. It is then he is exposed to terms and concepts such as 'reality deviants', other dimensional entities (aka ghosts and demons and the like), and other strange things.

At the start of the game, Kyle is a brand new field agent in training newly assigned to Phoenix by Achilles Shield, his first assignment. Still an academic and somewhat green behind the ears at the time the game begins, while he has studied the source material on reality deviants, he has never come face to face with one personally. All his work has strictly been on an academic level, and he is eager to apply his knowledge to his very first case.
