Achille’s Shield
Located in New York, Achille’s Shield is one of the seven major Technocratic Constructs in Earth Realm and is responsible for all of North America. From here the Technocracy sets policy, enforces and maintains the Paradigm, and defends Civilians (Sleepers) from supernatural forces. Although the Construct does not have a direct impact on Phoenix, it’s policies are far ranging and there is no corner of the Western Hemisphere that isn’t influenced by it.

Title: Control
Convention: Progenitor
The highest ranking Technocrat in the world, Control’s paradigm focuses on evolution and its role in shaping and improving humanity, leading us forward to Enlightenment through our very genes. The fuel of evolution is diversity, and because of this he was instrumental in ending the Pogrom against the Traditions and Crafts.
When it comes to enforcing the Union’s will and achieving their aims, Control is utterly ruthless. He has no problems with using violence and bloodshed for the greater good. His big picture focus has kept the world safe from terrors that would drive the most jaded Mage insane, but the collateral damage of these efforts can only be described as a tragedy.
Thomas Veil
Title: Director of Intelligence
Convention: New World Order
Thomas Veil is a good man, the ideal of what a Mage should be, regardless of allegiance. As Director of Intelligence he is responsible for gathering information about the Traditions and other supernatural groups which reside in the World of Darkness, and identifying those that are threats and those that can be ignored (for now). He also oversees investigations into supernatural events and fringe science which victimize civilians and threaten the global Paradigm.
Leslie Myers
Title: Director of Operations
Convention: Itineration X
Recently elevated to Director of Operations after the disappearance of her predecessor, Director Myers has moved quickly to secure her position within the Technocracy and to move forward with her own policy changes. She was instrumental in overseeing the purging of the Syndicate, and since then has been active in moving assets to provide more global coverage while as the same time aggressively neutralizing threats.
Myers’ relationship with her counterpart in Intelligence is excellent. The two complement each other very well, playing off each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Their support for Control is absolute, and with the addition of Myers to the leadership team, Achille’s Shield is in a position to assert its influence globally.
