Character Descriptions:

With the exception of Holly Snow, Mouse is the most likely mage Phoenix Rising is to encounter even if they never meet her. Reclusive and paranoid, she is a shadow even among the Adepts, preferring to interact through aliases rather than herself. Mouse has effectively deleted her entire past (Arcane 5), making any investigation into her or her activities extremely difficult, but her goals are such that it’s only a matter of time until one crosses paths with her.

Mouse is an anarchist who believes the Adept’s philosophy of freeing data has made it easier for the Technocracy and their government stooges to create a security state and spy on everyone. If knowledge is power, the corporations and bureaucrats are becoming gods. Her activities seek to disrupt that through the wholesale deletion of information as well as the destruction of infrastructure which allows data to be shared.

However, Mouse’s anarchist beliefs are not focused on blind destruction. Her philosophy is well thought out and nuanced, and one of the few places she will actually be herself is in on-line message boards or at Socratic Café’s where she has successfully convinced more than a few people to give Anarchism another look.

Outside her chantry mates, Mouse cares little for other mages. Most she’s content to ignore, and those that get in her way soon learn how far her digital hand can reach.
