We Blame Our Parents

Name: We Blame Our Parents (Derogatory: Upstarts)

Totem: Coywolf - Totem of Cunning - Evolution, Adaption, Rebirth

Description: The Rites and Traditions of the Garou are ancient, extending back to a time before civilization. From the beginning the Wolves have defined themselves as a people and a culture from their past, drawing strength from it and using it as a guide to wage the never ending war against the Wyrm. And yet they are losing.

At some point, something needs to change. For the pack We Blame Our Parents, that time is now. Abandoning the past to forge a new way, this pack of Upstarts seeks to create new Traditions and invent a new culture, one that recognizes the world as it is. While Edward Gunn and his crew learn and remember what has come before, they are trying to find a new way, one that they hope will lead to victory.

Following the newborn Totem Coywolf, the Pack has met with a lot of success, earning Renown and scoring victories as they work to protect the Desert Sept Caern, a huge well of power with multiple smaller caerns which share a single leyline network. Without the Upstarts, the Verde Park Well would be unprotected.

In addition to protecting Verde Park, We Blame Our Parents have learned of a Hellgate somewhere in the city, and have discreetly been trying to locate and secure it.

The Pack’s position in the city is tenuous. Hand Me the Gun and Ask Me Again has a good relationship personally with the Sept leader, Gilead, and the Desert Morning Pack recognizes the importance of the Upstarts. But both Coyote Skull and Quiet Thunder view Gunn’s Pack as Heretics, and the only thing these two agree on is the need to push the Upstarts out of Phoenix and if possible, destroy them.

So far, both Gunn and Gilead outrank the other pack leaders. But if something were to happen where the Sept did not feel it needed the Upstarts, maybe through an alliance within the Community, war would break out.

WOLVES:

Name: Hand Me the Gun and Ask Me Again

Alias: Edward Gunn

Tribe: Glasswarker

Auspice: Ragabash

Leader of the Upstarts, second highest ranking Wolf in Phoenix. Visionary. Deviant. A former analyst for law enforcement and U.S. intelligence, Edward's willingness to regularly challenge conventional wisdom doomed his career and lead him to seek his destiny on his own.

Name: Morally Ambiguous

Alias: Mathias Solomon

Tribe: Get of Fenris

Auspice: Ahroun

Unwelcome among most of his tribe, though born under the warrior moon Mathias draws more inspiration from Loki than Thor or Odin.

Name: Legally Not Responsible

Alias: Raven Decker

Tribe: Shadow Lord

Auspice: Philodox

In some ways the public face of the Pack, when there are professional or legal matters its Raven who's called. Waging battles in court rooms as well as the streets, she offers her Pack access to a variety of law enforcement and criminal contacts through her work. Raven's rejection of Traditional mating practices to increase the Garou population has made her a pariah in her family, and it wasn't until Gun accepted her that she was able to find a pack to call home.

Name: I Know Where the Bodies Are

Alias: Anna Parker, Gravedigger

Tribe: Glasswalker

Auspice: Galliard

Do you have a secret? A mistress? Youthful indiscretion? Embarrassment? Gravedigger knows. Whatever bodies you've buried, she will find and dig them up, then promise to make the problem go away, in exchange for a favor or two. Anna is a power broker, making deals for different groups in Phoenix. Anyone who has a problem comes to her for help, aide she will gladly provide in exchange for favors later.

Such deal making is more fit for a Kindred than a noble Garou, and most of the Nation look at her with disgust . . . until they need a favor.
