Phoenix Rising is staffed by a small number of servants, professionally trained, very well compensated, who know enough about magic and reality that their presence has no impact on the Horizon Realm nor the magics practiced within. Most of them are family and/or children of Awakened Mages, and while at first glance the job of serving an Awakened person might seem a bit degrading, they are given access to knowledge and education for themselves and their family that makes membership at Phoenix Rising a prestigious position.
Overseen by Ms., Kaplan, the Staff have come together as a family of their own, without whom the Mages would not be able to maintain either their home nor the grounds at large.
