Luther Sinclair

Appearance: Luther is always stylishly dressed. Expensive clothes made from the best materials from the premier designers. He isn’t flashy or gauche, and has an ability to blend in regardless of the environment. He’s handsome, but not memorably so. He smiles like a friend and is good at listening to others.

Personality: Luther is a chameleon, blending in to any setting in a role that will get him what he wants. When running a con he tries to fit an archetype and allow people to see what they expect to see. He meets expectations, and then fleshes those expectations out with a quirk or two to make them believable. But when he’s alone, or with people he trusts absolutely, he’ll drop the mask and expose himself as a sensitive and caring individual who enjoys good food, good drink, and good company. He wants friends and lovers he can share his love of art and literature with, go to museums with, and explore the world. He can fall in love a bit quickly, and has been burned more than once as a result.

History: When Luther was a school he was the kid everyone picked on, even the nerds tormented him taking comfort at not being at the bottom of the social ladder. Then is 5^th grade he read Tom Sawyer. Realizing he could never win a fight, he worked to outsmart his tormentors. A conman was born.

Luther has spent his life traveling Europe, Asia, and America running one con after another. He targets the rich and powerful, bullies who can afford to lose a painting they don’t appreciate or money they don’t need. He’s recently fallen in with a new crew that’s come together for a major heist. He knows little of what the target is beyond a city: Phoenix.
