Mayday Project Wrong Again!

July 4, 2019

Not sure why Mayday Project keeps putting out inaccurate information and then can't help themselves and feel they must slam those who are working as hard and fast as possible to help patients, against humongous odds.

First of all, the chart they are providing to try to make their point is the wrong one, making their stated numbers way off. According to what they are referring to in their narrative, it should be this chart.

To Address Some Of The Many Inaccuracies

Mayday Project said... "Certainly, they could have done research on how many federal employees are usually on an advisory committee."

RESPONSE- "Usually" doesn't get it. The number is actually mandated and stated directly in the bill, which Mayday Project would have known if they'd done their research. (Pages 118-119) https://www.congress.gov/114/bills/hr34/BILLS-114hr34eah.pdf

Mayday Project said... "Certainly, they could have done research."

RESPONSE- RESEARCH? LDA & LDO were working on both state and federal bills long before (decades) Mayday Project entered the scene.

Mayday Project said... "Certainly, they should have been keeping track of the bill to find out all patient representatives had been removed from the bill, right before it was up for a vote in Congress. (Only the Mayday Project saved that disaster from happening, yet ironically, LDA claimed the victory for ‘saving’ the bill.)"

RESPONSE- Laughing too hard at this idiotic statement to type right now... break.

Ok. Those who sit around and do nothing (aside from some slamming of others along the way and trying to undermine the process), then try to jump on the bandwagon once the project is accomplished, are just pitiful.

First, Mayday Project had absolutely nothing to do with this bill or the many that came before it and have made no impact on Lyme legislation at all.

Second, if Mayday Project had even read the bill they would have seen "the patients representatives" are there. That statement is just uninformed, lazy crazy talk. See for yourself- Pages 118-119 https://www.congress.gov/114/bills/hr34/BILLS-114hr34eah.pdf

Mayday Project said... "So, why did the major Lyme advocates push for this dumb bill and then encourage the community to support it?"

RESPONSE- I'm positive it isn't the bill that is "dumb" here. Could it be the Mayday Project, once again?

Mayday Project said... "Why do patients keep on losing, decade after decade?"

RESPONSE- If Mayday Project hasn't figured that out by now they are surely lacking in intelligence and experience.

Mayday Project said.. "Doesn’t anyone ‘in charge’ know what they are doing? Hello....?"

RESPONSE- Absolutely they do.

A sweet little girl in grade school and I have had an ongoing exchange of songs that we want the other to hear each week. First it is her turn, then my turn to provide the weekly song.

The very first song she came up with was this one by Taylor Swift. I was pleased to see even though she was so young that she knew better and could tell right from wrong.

While responding again to more Mayday trash tonight that song came to mind. It is totally fitting, even though Mayday Project isn't suppose to be acting like mean "little girls" anymore.
