The authors acknowledge The Mountaineers, where we learned the skills to experience these magnificent places. The Mountaineers is a nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to helping people explore, conserve, learn about, and enjoy the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest and beyond since 1906. This chapter includes information about The Mountaineers and Mountaineers Books. It also contains information about achieving the Mountaineers 100 Peaks at Mount Rainier medallions. You do not need to be a Mountaineers member to achieve these medallions.
