Comments

Shriner is a classic hike, with old-growth forest opening up to alpine vistas and grand views of the Big One. In late spring the upper slopes may still be snow covered, making route finding a bit of a challenge. Large noble firs are found just off the trail on the upper slopes. In August and early September huckleberries abound from 4700’ to 5100’.
