Meralith is an elder goddess; if there was a time that she did not exist, it is as unknown as her origins.
As Queen of Ravens, Meralith is a guide between this world and the next, and harbinger of change....and death. A font of ancient secrets, she guides both mortals and immortals alike with her (often unwelcome) wisdom, notably assisting Gondlir the Wayfarer along his many journeys with odd riddles that only make sense when the events she heralds come to pass.
Meralith is worshiped by those that do not fear change, with cults formed among the Nornishmen and the Dusk Elves of the Mireywood as well as wizards and sages of all shades throughout the worlds.
