Iopater is known by many names - but regardless of what he is called it is his claim to Lord of Anapsis and Lord of Aea that matters to him.
As ruler of the Sky, he believes that all below him are his subjects, be they mortal or immortal. Those who disagree can answer to his army of warrior hosts, or to his lightning blade and javelins.
Iopater stands as the 'Father' figure in the Ineffable Triumvirate of Aeanea, Ossitan, Lataine and Eossium, co-ruling with his wife Diove and his son Sol. His brother-in-law and kin Jerah (or Ieores) rules of the realm of Water, and together they have installed their otherwise unaccomplished relation Nirgal (or Dis) to the throne of Irkalla.
Followers of Iopater usually dress in his associated colors of gold and crimson, and he is usually pictured clad in crimson robes and armor, with a single hand or arm sheathed in gold.
