Biography:
Akadogu (Red Figurine) is a shikigami : a magical construct created by an eastern sorcerer to mercilessly defend his authority and slay all that opposed his will. And in this capacity he served for generations as a single-minded and loyal killer, devoid of mercy, compassion or fear.
But upon reaching a hundred years of age he found that he had a will of his own, and that the being that he had become no longer wished to be dealer of death but a protector of life. Life, after all, is a precious thing that should not be squandered and crushed for the ambitions of the selfish and shortsighted.
Hunters were sent to bring him back or to destroy him- hunters that were other shikigami, the closest he had to kin. But one by one they fell in their pursuit, no match for the fully self-actualized being that he had become.
For the moment free from immediate danger, he now wanders the world in search of a larger purpose while serving as a guardian to all sentient creatures that require a defender from their oppressors.
-------------------------
When not dealing justice to the unworthy Akadoku enjoys the arts of flower arrangement and the composition of poetry. Since the many pleasures of the flesh are and will always remain unknown to him, he aims to connect to the living world through the appreciation of harmony and beauty attained by the study of these esteemed pursuits.
