Saurian God of Civilization PathsI Spirits II War III CivilizationSkills: Acrobatics, Athletics, Investigate, TacticsRitual Weapon: Natural Weapons (Unarmed), War ClubAvatar: Saurian Fortune Teller (p.245) Alignments: Order Opposed Alignments: Chaos ------------------------- Itzamna is worshiped by the Saurians of Xibalba as both a god and a living ruler. His adherents communicate directly with him by burning incense and copal thereby creating creating a vision serpent - a path of communication to the realm of the gods in the stars. With this connection, Itzamna acts both as the ruler of the often-warring Xibalban city states via priest-king proxies, as well as a guide and advisor to his followers. He is an unforgiving god who demands absolute adherence to rules and tradition, and believes in competition above all brings out the best in people. While Itzamna is not outright hostile to the Sullustrian pantheon, he considers these younger deities to be beneath him, and his people.
