notes from Diane, who was unable to attend the meeting actively
With regard to the issues on the agenda:
- I would propose investigating with IFIP some kind of "co-sponsorship" (i.e., no budget alloted to the conf, but ability to add IFIP's logo and to circulate announcements in IFIP promotional channels e.g., web, newsletter and others).
- In any case, we have offered an IFIP TC9/9.2, 9.2.2, 9.5 and domain for cloud computing track on "social responsibility/ethics/virtuality/cloud. We could try to do e.g., an open 9.2/9.2.2 workshop the day before ETHICOMp starts and a TC9 (closed) meeting the dat after. This would ensure a few people attending these two events who might stay for the conference itself (besides the usual IFIP members who come along very regularly to ETHICOMP).
- With regard to publication(s), IFIP usually publishes with Springer: first fifty copies free, and the rest to be bought. I would have to see whether the ETHICOMP publications could be handled e.g., within the AICT series or within a "teaching programme" series. But I assume it would need an IFIP co-editor to the proceedings, as a minimum.
- Somehow co-sponsoring ETHICOMP 2015 would work well for us, even if we have our summer school this year in Edinburgh on Aug 17-21, and Human Choice and Computing 12 in Salford, Manchester in September 2016.

criteria for selection
Do we want open access? closed access might be desirable due to the preliminary nature of the work
Would we be able to have parallel submissions to more than one repository?
Do we want paper or digital only? discussion showed that digital was preferred
Action: Andrew to clarify whether ACM will publish us and whether it would cost anything.
