· Topics for future conferences will be developed over time by encouraging inputs from the ETHICOMP Steering Committee in its regular discussions with input from the wider ETHICOMP community.
· For example, as per October 2011, topics already raised have been:
o ethics of ICT to be seen as a active and integral part of society
o the teaching of ethics of ICT embedded in formal education (primary, secondary, tertiary)
o the teaching of ethics of ICT included in other forms of education (e.g., informal forms of education; community education; lifelong learning; Universities of the Third Age)
o engagement on ethical dialogue on ICT with business
o engagement on ethical dialogue on ICT with civic society
o use of ranges of tools to stimulate public discussions on ethics of ICT (e.g., public service advertising, content of radio and television programmes, social networks, Internet, open lectures - for companies or Universities of the Third Age, books, flyers, websites, billboards).
