There are three ways to initially file for Social Security Disability benefits from the SSA (Social Security Administration). You can apply:
(A) Online at ssa.gov.
(B) By calling the SSA’s toll-free customer service line at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778).
