Legal Protections:
Oregon's Elderly Persons and Persons with Disabilities Abuse Prevention Act (EPPDAPA) provides legal recourse for victims of financial exploitation.
Individuals can seek a restraining order (EPPDAPA Restraining Order) to protect themselves from further abuse.
Mandatory reporters (certain professionals) are required to report suspected abuse, and those who report in good faith are protected from liability.
