Biofeedback: Thermal biofeedback training has been shown to be effective in treating migraine headache. For the management of tension headache, EMG feedback has been employed primarily. It has been shown that the combination of thermal and EMG biofeedback has been effective in the control of migraine, tension, and mixed migraine and tension headache. Unlike migraine and tension headache, there is a lack of published data concerning the safety and effectiveness of biofeedback in the management of cluster headache.
