For August's Poem of the Month I have chosen the poem 'A Fall' by Csilla Toldy. It is taken from her collection Red Roots - Orange Sky.
A FALL
Trembling thrill flows down on my spine
I am anxiously aware of the walls
Falling apart.
Weights of defence drop to the ground
Uncovering a vulnerable core
Taken away by the winds of life
