Partners should not be doing these steps until they have reviewed SMART statements, strategic plan, available student data and decided where they would like to focus your program efforts.
Step 1: Locate the tabs that are located on the bottom of your homebase.
Step 2: Select Goal and Target Setting
Step 3: Scroll down to Student Outcome Goals
Step 4: Click on the drop down menu and select the skill you wish to focus on.
Step 5: Select the appropriate Age Range that you wish to focus on with the skill
Step 6: In the Student Outcome Goal Description area, write a SMART statement that reflects the changes that you are going to target.
Step 7: Goal % of Students is where you place the benchmark (should be incorporated in your Student Outcome Goal Description) in a percentage format.
Step 8: Take the total number of valid students (found in your Data Completion) assessed in insert it under Fall # of Valid Students (Assessed in Fall)
Step 9: Go to DataFit's Child Outcomes and count the number of students that have met your goal (eg. if your goal is "children will score on level (tier I) in picture naming," count all students who have are in tier I on the Child Outcomes graph in DataFit.
Step 10: Repeat Steps 7-9 until all windows within scope are accounted for
