It prompts us to set a North star goal for the year that connects to all of the other areas within the Data Collaborative model. The purpose of the Data Collaborative is to all available data that will allow us to impact the practices, processes and systems that will create the largest impact on these targeted skills.
The RSP 1.2 routine is dependent on the Reading Success Pathway 1.3 routine. This is because the student outcome goal should be rooted and based on student outcomes. RSP 1.3 is the routine where we assess and collect student outcome data. We then would adjust our RSP 1.2 SMART statement based on what these data reflect.
The RSP 1.2 routine directly influences the EBP 2.2 routine. EBP 2.2 is establishing the teacher instruction strategy. This strategy will shift depend on what Reading Success Pathway skill is being targeted throughout the year. For example, we use a different intervention for developing vocabulary for 3rd graders than for developing phonics for 2nd graders.
