It important, because it allows us to have a quality, valid, and complete dataset to inform decisions. It does this by prompting us to measure student outcomes on Reading Success Pathway skills.
The RSP 1.3 routine is not dependent on any other routines within the Data Collaborative model. The assessment and specific processes are dependent on the organization and student profiles.
The RSP 1.3 routine directly influences the RSP 1.2 routine. The collection and expression of student outcomes helps inform which skill(s) are relevant, and need to be prioritized, for the children that are enrolled your program or organization. Without knowing where the children's current RSP skills are informed instruction cannot take place.
