Homebase is a project management tool that keeps track of different channels of Data Collaborative work. The tool is housed in Google Sheets and is where we aggregate information about coaching sessions agendas, goals, action tracking, and observations.
It's critical to the Data Collaborative because it is where all your organization's information is housed. From the raw data of your student outcomes to what was discussed in a coaching session. All the information is saved in Homebase.
The Agenda is what is discussed during the monthly coaching sessions. It includes an overview of the topics that will be discussed and an area for next actions and notes. When you begin to prepare for the next coaching session, the agenda is the place to start
The Routines & Actions tab is where you can monitor how close you are to fulfilling the routines and actions of the Data Collaborative model. The tab prompts you to map out the design of your program and to create checkpoints for you to evaluate the progress to goal.
The SMART Goal & Reflection tab is where we set all of the goals we focus on in the Data Collaborative. The routines that have associated goals are reflected here. In addition to a place to document goals, this tab also allows for the documentation of reflection and learnings generated from Improvement Cycles.
The Action Tracking tab is where you can monitor how close you are to fulfilling a plan that you have created. The tab is where you capture the steps necessary to achieve your goals.
The Process Documentation tab is focused on documenting your processes in data collection and implementation. The tab has templated swimlane charts where you can capture the process, as well was handoffs of the work.
The Family Report is a report that generates information about individual students in the pre-school age bracket. The report can be used for partners to communicate with families about the progress of individual student's progress.
