Rebo's Research Adventure is our very own FREE research video game, available to download on IOS and Android tablets.
Rebo's Research Adventure works as an engagement tool, and is a great way to start a conversation about research with young people and adults alike.
The game is set in a world where all diabetes research has been lost. Rebo, a time travelling NHS robot, must travel back through the decades to rediscover the key elements of diabetes treatments.
From collecting insulin in the 1920s, French Lilac in the 1930s and an artificial pancreas in the 1960s, the game demonstrates both the continually developing nature of health and social care research, and the importance of research as a whole.
You can take Rebo with you to any event, on either an iOS or Android tablet.
We're sorry, but the app doesn't work on smartphones.
For larger events, supporting materials are available, including a large backing banner and iPad stands.
