Quick Eval
Quick Eval is a great tool to help you save time, stay organized, and ensure your students are receiving timely feedback on their assignment submissions, discussion posts, and quizzes.
The Quick Eval tool is essentially a sortable to-do list to let you know which items across all of your courses still need to be graded. As you grade items, the list shrinks and as students submit new items, the list will grow automatically. The feature does not require you to re-learn how to grade! When you click on a link in the Quick Eval list, it will jump right into the area you need to be to grade a student's activity in the course.
Using Quick Eval
Dismiss Activities from Quick Eval
On the NICC Brightspace homepage, click on the ‘Quick Eval’ link in the navigation bar.
Ensure you are in the ‘Activities’ view by clicking on the ‘Activities’ button.
You will see a list of activities that need to be graded yet. Hover your mouse over an item you would like to dismiss. Then, click on ‘More Actions’ and choose ‘Dismiss until...’
Set the length of time you would like to dismiss the item in Quick Eval. More often than not, you will likely want to dismiss it forever.
Tip: If you accidentally dismiss something and want it to make a return, you can access and restore your dismissed items by clicking on the ‘...’ icon on the Quick Eval page and choose ‘Dismissed Activities’
