Checklist Tool

Checklists contain categories, which are used to organize checklist items. For example, you might create the categories Week 1, Week 2, and Week 3, and place week-specific checklist items into the appropriate categories. Alternatively, you might use a checklist to organize steps of an assignment. You can assign due dates for checklist items.

FAQs

Can I grade a Checklist?

No, Checklists cannot be graded in Brightspace.

When should I use a Checklist?

Checklists can be helpful for many situations such as giving students direction with a subject/project, helping them get started in your course, or even doing a scavenger hunt. Note that students can just click each item as Brightspace does not have a way to check if the student has actually completed each step.
