You can Email individual students in a class or email your entire class with just a few clicks.
Note: Email in Brightspace is send-only. You must navigate to your NICC Gmail to see your email inbox.
Log in and access your course. Select the ‘Classlist’ link in the navigation bar.
Select the ‘Select All’ checkbox to select all of the individuals (up to 50) in your Classlist.
Tip: This can include you, so you will get a copy of the email as well.
Select the ‘Email’ link. This will open up a new window where you can compose your email.
Note: Everyone will be in the BCC field by default.
Compose your email message. Be sure to include a subject. You can optionally add an attachment at the bottom of the email window.
Click the ‘Send’ button. If you included yourself in the message, you will receive a copy in your email. If you do not see it in a few minutes, you may want to check your spam or junk email folder.
