Under the “More Tools” drop-down menu on the navbar, click Quizzes.
On the “Manage Quizzes” page, click “New Quiz”.
In the “General” area, fill in your quiz details (quiz name, quiz details, etc.).
In the “Quiz Questions” area, click “Add/Edit Questions”.

In the “Properties” tab of quiz editing mode, in the” Quiz Questions” area, do any of the following:
Specify the number of Questions per page.
Select the Prevent moving backward through the pages check box.
Select the Shuffle order of questions at the quiz level check box. To discourage cheating in quizzes, you can shuffle the order of all questions in quizzes or specific groups of questions (sections) in quizzes. For example, you could shuffle questions 1-10 in a quiz, or shuffle questions 3-10 (grouping those questions into a section) and retain the order of questions 1-2 at the start of the quiz. When a quiz contains shuffled questions, each learner receives a quiz with a unique question order.
Note: Shuffling the order of questions at the quiz level also shuffles the order of all sections in the quiz.
In the “Optional Advanced Properties” (at the bottom of the page) do any of the following:
Select the Allow hints check box.
Select the Disable right-click check box.
Select the Disable instant messages and alerts check box.
In the Notification Email field, enter an email where notifications will be sent.
When you are finished creating all quiz questions and have set up your quiz properties, click “Save”.

You can give one or more students special access to your quiz, i.e., a longer time limit or a unique start and/or end date.
In your course, go to More Tools then Quizzes
Click the name of the Quiz to which you'll be giving special access
Click the Availability Dates & Conditions section on the right side of the page.
Select 'Manage Special Access'

To allow individual students earlier access to the quiz, select "Has Start Date." Then, change the start date and time as needed.
To allow individual students later access to the Quiz, select "Has End Date." Then, change the end date and time as needed.
To allow individual students more time to take a quiz, check the box next to "Override Time Limit" and enter one of the following:

New Time Limit: Allows you to override the current time limit by entering a new time limit in minutes to this field.
Multiplier: Allows you to override the current time limit by multiplying it by the entered number. For example, if the current time limit is 120 minutes, then a 1.5 multiplier will make it 180 minutes for the selected student.
Extra Time: Allows you to add extra time beyond the time limit.
No Time Limit: Removes any time limit for the quiz and allows the student unlimited time to take the quiz.
To allow individual students a different number of attempts in the quiz, check the box next to "Override attempts allow" and choose a number from the dropdown menu below. Then click "Apply."
Note: You may also override the current behavior when the time limit expires. You can have the quiz automatically submit at the time limit, flag the quiz as "Exceeded Time Limit" and allow the learner to continue, or do nothing and the limit is not enforced.
To allow individual students more attempts, check the box next to "Override Attempts Allowed", select the number of attempts you want the student to have, and click "Apply". Please note that it does not provide additional attempts to the current attempts allowed. For example, if a quiz is currently only allowing 1 attempt and you want to allow a student 2 more additional attempts, then you will want to enter 3 attempts.
Check the box next to the name of the student(s) who will have special access to the quiz
Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen. You'll return to the Edit Quiz page
Click the Save and Close button at the bottom of the page
Please note that if you add Start or End Dates to a student in Special Access, it will override the quiz's Start and/or End Dates. If you adjust the Start or End Date on the quiz but not in Special Access, then the student will still have the same access dates that are in Special Access.

From there, the score will be published to your Grades and the learner will be notified that their grade has been updated.

Click the dropdown arrow next to a Quiz and choose ‘Edit Quiz’
Once the ‘Edit Quiz’ screen opens, click on the ‘Submission Views’ tab

You can view and export quiz reports to a CSV or Microsoft Excel file for data analysis. The file contains all applicable information from the quiz so that you can query, sort, and evaluate the data without being connected to the learning management system. If a question is changed after attempts have occurred, then only the attempts on the newest version of the question are included in the statistical calculations.

In your course, go to More Tools then Quizzes

Question Stats: Question Stats CSV and Excel files contain data about the average score on questions by points and percentage. The question title, text, bonus status, and difficulty level are included in the files so that data can be analyzed without referring back to the learning management system. Note: Quiz statistics are not computed for questions in a Question Pool.
Question Details (See Data Exported for Question Details): Question Details CSV and Excel files contain detailed information about each question in the quiz, including a list of all of the answers provided for each quiz attempt, how many users chose each possible answer, the total number of responses, and the average score on the question. Question Details reports can help you evaluate trends in answers and look for questions that were unclear or difficult for a number of users. The question title, text, bonus status, and difficulty level are included in the CSV file so that data can be analyzed without referring back to the learning management system.
On any of the tabs, you can click Export to CSV or Export to Excel to download a file that you can save to your computer and view in Excel

Significant Figures: Questions are broken down by results and units. Also lists which users had both results and units correct, both results and units correct, as well as significant figures, only results correct, only results and significant figures correct, only units correct, and neither results or units correct
Note: Quiz statistics are no longer accurate if you edit a question in the quiz after the quiz question has been attempted by a learner. Also, if you have negative grading enabled, the results displayed on the Question Statstab are updated. Point Biserial results may be lower when negative grading is enabled. Standard Deviation has a wider distribution to account for negative grading. Questions with a negative average score appear below zero in the Grade Distribution graph. If you enable negative grading, enter negative grades, and then turn off negative grading, negative grades existing in the system will result in incorrect score calculations. For more information about negative grading, refer to the Create a quiz with negative grading section of the Create and configure a quiz topic.

Users can easily and intuitively apply question-paging rules to their quizzes. Common paging configurations like displaying all questions together or one question per page are quick and easy to set. Further paging configurations are available by choosing to add page breaks after each section, then users can create sections and add questions to those sections to have them on their own page.
If you created your quiz using the Legacy Experience, you will get another option to "Use Legacy Paging". This will allow you to continue to use the same paging as what your quiz originally had set.
