Veronicastrum virginicum

Host for: Nearly all pollinators. Including but not limited to butterflies, bees, moths, wasps, and flies.

Flowers: July through September.

Plant Characteristics: Known as a taller plant, reaching 6 feet at it's highest growth. Fine toothy leaves which occur in a whorl of 3 to 8 leaflets.

Fun Facts: Is known to grow slower in the first season in a new plot, but will normally pick up growth in the second growing season.
