Green Beans
Green beans are a delicious and easy seed to plant. They have a high amount of vitamins and provide a good amount of fiber and protein.
History:
Green beans came from south central America in the 1400's. Around the 1800's farmers began to breed green beans to try and remove some of the strings. There are two types of beans as bush or pole beans. Bush beans can grow without support and are around 1-2 feet tall. Pole beans require support to grow vertically and can be up to 10 feet tall.

Size- 1-2 feet tall
Full sun exposure
Water- moist soil with 1 inch of water per week
Planting spacing- 3 inches apart, 1 inch deep
you can use also a planter that is 12 inches, using 5 plants per container.
Harvesting information:
Beans can be picked once pods have formed, but before seed begin to protrude against shell.
