Green Beans

Green beans are a delicious and easy seed to plant. They have a high amount of vitamins and provide a good amount of fiber and protein.

History:

Green beans came from south central America in the 1400's. Around the 1800's farmers began to breed green beans to try and remove some of the strings. There are two types of beans as bush or pole beans. Bush beans can grow without support and are around 1-2 feet tall. Pole beans require support to grow vertically and can be up to 10 feet tall.
