Jewel Weed 

Impatiens

Flowers about 1" long dangling from a long stalk. The flowers have a short inward-curved spur at the back. The leaves are egg-shaped, coarsely toothed. Fruit in a plump pod that explodes when ripe. 

Distribution: Moist places

Uses: Jewelweed is most commonly known for its antipruritic use in the treatment of poison ivy rash. It has also been used as an agent to promote blood flow, for post childbirth and joint pain, bruises and swelling, and as an antidote to fish poisoning.
