Lima Beans
Lima beans are a delicious and healthy plant that are easy to plant. They have a high amount of protein, fiber and other minerals.
History:
Lima beans originated in Lima, Peru even though they are pronounced lime-uh. In Peru around 100-800 A.D. they were used only as a ceremonious status symbol, but thankfully was utilized as a food source after the were found to be edible.

Size- 2-12 feet tall, 1-3 feet wide

Water- moist soil with 1 inch of water per week
Planting spacing- 1 inch deep and 2-4 inches apart. Space rows 2-3 feet apart.
you can use also a planter that is 12 inches, using 5 plants per container.
Harvesting information:
Once the pod changes color and the seeds are plump, but before seeds and pod are hard.
